I got my new computer up its running in a Sonata III case, which comes with a crappy fan but a very decent power. This computer is noticeably more silent than my old computer. The processor is a Duo Core E7200, i am very satisfied with the performance of this processor. The motherboard is a gigabyte one, no use in telling model name but it supports a large variety of processors i might go someday and get a E8XXX or Q -series processor when their prices are low enough. Operating system is Win XP with SP3, didnt want vista because i want to get along with 2GB memory, and for vista 2GB of memory is plenty. The GPU is nothing special, a bit faster than my old one it runs most modern games with a decent framerate if i want to play something. Most of the games i play are however older than 3 years.

Now despite all the added power i am not really accomplishing anything, and i am a bit demotivated in many areas of my life right now, not just in photography and creative stuff in general. Seasons like these come and go so its not a big deal, this might end next week, or next month. Then at some point i start to get my creativity going and i simply go out with my camera, and produce some new material. Right now most of what i have is old material, and the relatively new one is in a way all too familiar to me already (talking about dog photos here ). But seasons like these come and go.
